P & R Industrial Sales represents Nihon Spindle, located in Japan, for Tube Spinning machines. Nihon Spindle has been in business for more than 100 years. They have been designing and manufacturing Metal Spinning Machines/Flow Forming Machines for decades. 

These machines are used in many different industries. But the most prevalent industry they are used in is the Automotive industry. This equipment as shown in the above photo is used to spin mufflers, catalytic converters and other similar items. 

They offer a special feature where the part is stationary and the tooling rotates (i.e. part static method) . This give you much more advantages compared with the conventional part rotating method, such as much better protection of the inner bricks and quicker process time. 

Besides, they can reduce and change the configuration with spinning, it eliminates the need to have additional processes like forming the end caps separately on a press and then welding them to the muffler or catalytic converter. An example of these products are shown below.

Valco has been providing planing services for over 60 years. They have 13 planers and the capacity to machine materials up to 35 feet in length. Planing is very well suited to produce special shaped extrusions. We call them bar conversions. 

Valco is capable of handling very large and complicated parts. They can machine and manufacture parts to the customer’s specifications and quality standards. They will take it from a drawing and manufacture it complete.
